I firmly believe if you feel like you LOOK good then you’re more likely to get out and do things that make you FEEL good, like running. When I pick out running gear I always look for functionality first, but then it also needs to be a piece that makes me happy. The funny thing is in my daily life I usually wear blacks and grays, but running brings out the girly-girl in me. Running makes me feel strong and feminine.

Running makes me want to kick butt and look cute doing it.

One way I add in a punch of color is by running in headbands. They keep the sweat out of my eyes, tame those crazy hairs around my forehead and somehow make me feel “put together” when I head out the door. I recently had the pleasure of trying out a sequin Bani Bands.

I’ll admit I have several other brand bands at home and I wasn’t expecting these to be much different. I was wrong. The great thing about Bani Bands is they are adjustable. No more headache or slipping bands, you just adjust them to fit your head. And did I mention they are super cute?
