Annapolis Weekend Information
Both the half marathon and the 10K courses will start at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and cross the scenic Severn River on the Naval Academy Bridge.
Gear Check: Gear Check will be available for all runners near the start line – look for the tent marked “Gear Check” which will be located near the “Runner Info” tent. Remove the gear check tag from your bib number and attach it to your bag with a safety pin. Please retrieve your belongings promptly after finishing the race and do not leave any valuables in your checked bags. While we will do our best to return your gear to you as you left it with us, we cannot guarantee the safety of gear-checked items.
Timing System: At packet pick up, all runners will receive a Chronotrack B-tag timing device that will already be attached to the back of your bib number. Please do not remove this device, as it will allow for your exact finishing time to be calculated. To ensure accurate timing, make sure that your bib number is visible on your outermost layer of clothing. Do not crumple or fold your bib or timing device. Results will be available immediately following the race at the After-Party Expo and also online later in the afternoon.
Aid Stations: Water and Cytomax Sports Performance drink will be available at stations throughout the race course.
Headphones: While we do not prohibit the use of headphones during the race, we suggest that you consider wearing only one earpiece (and leaving the other ear free) or keeping your music at a lower volume. It’s important that you stay aware of your surroundings and runners who are listening to music at higher volumes have a difficult time hearing volunteer and police instructions.
The approx. 1K kids’ run will start about 15 minutes after the race starts. No advance registration necessary, just register (for free!) race morning at the “Runner Info” tent located near the start line.
Packet Pick Up Schedule
Please pick up your packet at one of the following locations. There is no race day packet pick up. If you’re not able to make it to either time yourself, a friend can pick up your packet for you (as long as you have already signed the liability waiver).
|Date: May 30, 2014
|Location: Loews Annapolis Hotel|
Waivers: A runner will be noted in our system as not having a signed liability waiver if someone else registered online for her. The runner can click the link located at the bottom of her confirmation email to sign the waiver electronically, or she can sign a paper waiver and present it at packet pick up. A race number cannot be released without a signed waiver.
Mailed Packet Option: You can choose to have your packet mailed to you for $20 during the week before the race. Choose this option during registration or send a check for $20 with your registration confirmation number to the address below before May 18.

Start/Finish line at Navy Stadium: With the start and finish in the same location, this is an ideal spot to cheer on runners. Park at the Stadium and cheer your heart out as runners head out onto the course and celebrate when they return.
Corner of Rowe Blvd. & Taylor Ave.: Runners will pass this point at the start and finish of the race, and its walking distance from the start/finish area.
Naval Academy Bridge: Park at Jonas Green Park and walk up to the Naval Academy Bridge, where half marathon runners will pass you twice. Walk a bit up the bridge and cheer on the 10K runners at they hit the turnaround.
