Nearly all race weekend events happen at Main Beach Park except for yoga on Saturday which is held at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. 

Main Beach Park is centrally located and less than a mile from downtown Amelia Island (also known as Fernandina Beach)  
Main Beach Park is also the home of the Salt Life Food Shack - Fernandina Beach location so you have yummy eats right by the race!

If you are running the Half Marathon, 12K or Sunday 5K, you must pick up your race packet Friday, Oct 18 or Saturday, October 19 at Main Beach Park in Amelia Island. Race day packet pick up is not available unless you purchased the VIP Race Day Pick Up Option. VIP Race Day Pick Up is available for the Half Marathon, 12K and Sunday 5K.

If you are picking up your packet on Saturday, October 19 and plan to run the Lighthouse Loop 5K, please arrive NO LATER than 4pm to allow enough time for parking.  If possible, we recommend you pick up your packet earlier in the day!

We suggest that you bring your registration confirmation email with you to packet pick up, however, your confirmation email is not required.  We do allow you to pick up a race packet for someone else.

If you purchased a virtual race packet, please note that this will arrive one week AFTER the race weekend.

Half Marathon Course

Run through the quaint city and neighborhoods of Fernandina Beach and Old Town. The final portion of your run takes you through the tree lined roads of beautiful Fort Clinch with an oceanview finish at Main Beach.

12K Course

Start and finish the course with the scenic oceanviews at Main Beach. You’ll run past Amelia Island marshes and quaint neighborhoods. The final portion of your run takes you through the tree lined roads of beautiful Fort Clinch with an oceanview finish at Main Beach.

Lighthouse Loop 5K Course

Join us on Saturday evening for a family friendly 5K loop with lovely views of Amelia Island and the highlight of the course will be the Amelia Island Lighthouse – the oldest lighthouse in Florida. The 5K will start and finish at Main Beach.

sunday 5K Course

The Sunday 5K will start at finish at Main Beach. The course runs through the neighborhoods of Amelia Island and through the Egan’s Creek Greenway before finishing up at Main Beach.

NUUN Hydration + Aid stations

Aid stations will be located approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles along the race course with 7 aid stations on the half marathon course in total.  Stations will include water, portable toilet and minor first aid supplies. Nuun Hydration product will be available at select locations. Honeystinger Energy Gels will be available on the Half Marathon course only.


Pace groups will be provided for the Half Marathon by Galloway Training Group. Please see the final race instructions for more details.

Parking for ZOOMA Amelia Island is VERY limited due to the nature of the venue. We strongly advise that you carpool, walk, or be dropped off if possible. If you do plan to drive, please arrive early and allow plenty of time to park.

The following parking options are available for the race. Please plan for ample time to park and be at the start line.

Main Beach Parking Lot

Parking is available at the Main Beach Parking Lots on a first come, first served basis.

Other Parking Options

Overflow parking is available at the Fernandina Beach Recreation Center on Sunday morning only. A few additional spots are located at Egan’s Creek Park (.6 miles away) and Fernandina Beach High School (approx. 1.3 miles away).

Please obey any posted No Parking event signs on Fletcher Ave – these are along the course route and will impede race operations if you park along the road.

Participants will have access to bag check at the start of the race. Your race bib will include a bag check tear tag that you’ll need to attach to any bags you check.


Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall female race winners and top 3 Masters females for the Lighthouse Loop 5K, Seaside Challenge, Half Marathon, 12K and Sunday 5K.

Age group awards will be given for top 3 female finishers in each age group for the Lighthouse Loop 5K, Half Marathon and 12K only.

Age group awards include: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Awards will not be mailed following the race. Please make every effort to pick up your award on race day.

WEATHER + safety

Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

In order to ensure safety of all runners, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, baby carriers and dogs are prohibited from the race course.

Parts of the course are open to vehicular traffic throughout the run. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race and traffic signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.
