We all know that our health should be a top priority every day. Yet, women so often are taking care of others, our own health sometimes falls by the wayside. Sound familiar?
Women’s Health Week is an initiative by the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health. It encourages all women to take positive steps every day toward healthy habits that, done consistently, become a healthy lifestyle.
We are incredibly excited to share that In honor of National Women’s Health Week, (May 12-18) ZOOMA has teamed up with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health to help YOU make your health a priority.
Why are we running/walking?
One of the ways women are encouraged to be healthy is by staying active. It is recommended that you get at least 30 minutes of physical activity most days of the week.
That’s why we’ve created the FIND YOUR HEALTH 5K + 1K during National Women’s Health Week, May 8-12, 2019. To encourage you and all the women you know to get out and get active!
How do I take part?
Participation is FREE!* You can REGISTER HERE and your virtual race bib will be sent via email. *Get the race swag for a small fee.
You can also gather together a group of friends, family, co-workers or church members. Encourage everyone to get out and be active and celebrate women’s health!
You simply have to register and then complete a 5K or 1K run or walk during the week of May 8-12.
